Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Raymond J. Gaspard, the former Earline LaSalle, 67, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, May 13, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. O. Joe Breaux officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 11:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Berwick, Louisiana and a resident of Maurice, Mrs. Gaspard passed away at 8:10AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at a local hospital. Earline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and had been dearly looking forward to become a great grandmother in the near future. Earline cherished each and every moment she spent with her family and friends. Mrs. Gaspard worked as an Interior Decorator for thirty years. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Raymond J. Gaspard of Maurice; three daughters, Lisa Lucito and her husband John of Maurice, Terry Olivier and her husband Warren of Denim Springs, and Stephanie G. Stelly of Grand Bay, Alabama; son, Brian Gaspard and his wife Angie of Maurice; brother, Joe LaSalle and his wife Cindy of Shreveport; sister Edmae L. Pesson of Bayou Vista; ten grandchildren Nicholas Foreman, Danielle F. Hargrave and her husband Derek, Blaine Mire and his wife Jen, Heather Mire, Aimee Mire, Lindsey Stelly, Michael Stelly, Jacob Stelly, Kaleb Gaspard, and Bryce Gaspard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam LaSalle and Olita Mallet; her son Kelly Gaspard; six brothers, and two sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be Pervis Gaspard, Willie Gaspard, Brian Gaspard, Nicholas Foreman, Joe LaSalle, and Allen LaSalle.
