Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Wilton C. Cormier, Sr., 69, will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Anne Catholic Church, at 11:00AM, with Father Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday, May 2, 2011 from 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. A native of Bosco, Louisiana and a resident of Youngsville, Mr. Cormier passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Cormier was a member of the Moose Lodge and the owner of Sunshine Cleaners. Wilton was a professional musician; he played the Violin and the Accordion. He was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed gardening and his dogs. Wilton is survived by his son, Wilton Joe Cormier, Jr of Youngsville; daughters, Sandra Zeringue and her husband Ken of Lafayette, Karen Cormier of Youngsville, Darlene Cormier of Lafayette, Tammy Usey and her husband Jason of Youngsville, and Brandi Cormier of Lafayette; brothers, Larry Cormier of New Iberia, Gerald Cormier of Lafayette, and Louis Cormier, Jr. of Lafayette; sister, Gloria Denais of Lafayette; grandchildren; Ashley Cormier, and Jade Cormier; great grandchildren, Antonio Senegal and Keinan White. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Wiltz Cormier and Louis Cormier, Sr.; his wife, Pauline Menard Cormier; his brothers, Elton, Milton, Freddie, Charles Ray, and Jimmy Cormier, and grandchild, Ashlea Victoria Cormier. Serving as pallbearers will be; Ken Zeringue, Milton Naquin, Jason Usey, Bob Way, Jade Cormier, and Antonio Senegal.
