Erath- Funeral services will be conducted for Russell Lee Palombo, 64, at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 04, 2011 at David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 East Putnam Street, Erath, LA 70533 with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 03, 2011 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume Wednesday at 8:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow services at Petry Cemetery in Meaux, LA. Mr. Palombo passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2011 at his residence in Erath. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Perrin Palombo of Erath; his children, Michelle Williamson of Lake Charles, Rhonda Romero of Kaplan, Russell Palombo, Jr. of Franklin, Shannon Palombo of Kaplan, Russella Maturin , Heather Record, Shane Palombo, Adam Palombo and Eva Cormier all of Erath; twenty-two grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren. Mr. Palombo was preceded death by his parents, Percy Palombo and Marie Inez Primeaux Palombo. Pallbearers will be Shane Palombo, Adam Palombo, Ricky Record, Brandon Perrin, Tyler Perrin and Russell Palombo, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Perrin. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.
