Loreauville - Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Emmitte Dauterive, the former Bernice Latiolais, age 87 at 10:00AM Monday May 16, 2011 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. The family requests visiting hours Sunday May 15, 2011 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM and Monday May 16, 2011 from 8:00AM until service time. A rosary will be prayed Sunday at 6:00PM in the funeral home. . Mrs. Dauterive passed away Wednesday May 11, 2011 at 6:31PM at her daughters residence in Tomball, Texas. Mrs. Dauterive was a native of Cecilia, La., a longtime resident of Loreauville and a resident of Tomball, Texas at the time of her death. Mrs. Dauterive is survived by her children, Wayne P. Dauterive and his wife Debbie of Houston, Texas, Debbie D. Belvin and Carolyn D. Comeaux and her husband Gerald all of Tomball, Texas, Earl F. Dauterive and his wife Inez of Stafford, Texas, Bonnie D. Jones and her husband Gatlin, Sr. of Denham Springs, and Keith J. Dauterive and his wife Bonnie of New Iberia; Her sisters, Viola Martel Latiolais of Eunice, Lucy Latiolais Boudreaux of Humble, Texas; and a brother Clyde Latiolais and his wife Rita of Metairie, La. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved pet dog Sophie . Mrs. Dauterive was preceded in death by her husband Emmitte Antoine Dauterive; her parents Overne Latiolais and Ida Dupuis Latiolais; her brothers, Allen Latiolais, Howard Latiolais, Cliff Latiolais, Andrew Latiolais, Chester Latiolais, and Herbert Latiolais; her sisters, Irene Latiolais Bernard and twin sister Birdie Latiolais. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wayne Dauterive, Earl Dauterive, Keith Dauterive, Gerald Comeaux, Todd Camacho and Ryan Belvin. Honored to serve as honorary pallbearers will be Gatlin Jones, Jr., Andy Babineaux, Cameron Comeaux, Gatlin Jones, Sr., Ronald Buddy Pope, Jr., and Christopher Dauterive.
