Rose Chatagnier Albert

November 15, 1924 — August 23, 2011

Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Johnny Albert, Sr., the former Rose Chatagnier, age 86, Thursday August 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Padinjarepeedika officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Visitation will begin Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Thursday August 25, 2011 from 8:00 AM until service time.

A native and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Albert died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 4:40 AM at Dauterive Hospital.

Mrs. Albert is survived by her daughter, Sherline LeBlanc and husband Antoine; hersons, Ronald Albert, Sr. and wife Gloria and Johnny Albert, Jr. and wife Keisha; hersisters, Marie Neuville and husband J O; her brothers, Jean Chatagnier and Charlie Chatagnier and wife Elaine, all of Loreauville; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Albert was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Albert, Sr.; her son, Johnny Albert, Jr.; herparents, Ozair and Eula Landry Chatagnier; hersisters, Gertrude Crochet, Grace Robicheaux, Joyce Laviolette, Eula Olivier and Beverly Chatagnier; her brothers, George, Jules, Wade and Ozair Chatagnier, Jr., and a great grandchild, baby Albert.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Marty LeBlanc, Ronald Albert, Jason Albert, Wade Albert, Roland Albert and Donald Albert.
