Maureen "Kitty" Hebert Louviere

Jeanerette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Brad Louviere, the former Maureen Ann Hebert, age 64, will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux to serve as the Celebrant with musical accompaniment by Debbie Poindexter and Karen Guidry. Reading from sacred scripture will be Chelsea Veronie and Elaina Champagne. Giftbearers will be Jessica Louviere, Amanda Louviere, and Shawna Hebert. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Monday November 25, 2013 at 3:00pm until 10:00pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday November 26, 2013 from 8:00am until service time.

A native and longtime resident of Jeanerette, and current resident of Loreauville, Kitty as she was affectionately known passed away on Friday November 22, 2013 at 9:41am at Iberia Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Louviere was a strong, affectionate woman that put everyones needs before her own. As a young woman she took care of and raised her younger brother, a role she was born to do. She became a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, filled with care and compassion.

Mrs. Louviere was a Substitute Teacher and Teachers Aid for years before she retired. She enjoyed the outdoors, loved to dance, and was an avid picture taker, always capturing the funniest and most heartfelt moments of her familys life. Mrs. Louviere enjoyed family gatherings and holidays, especially her favorite holiday, Christmas. She absolutely loved Christmas. From her festive holiday sweaters to the looks on her grandchildrens faces as they opened gifts, she cherished every moment. Mrs. Louviere enjoyed life to the fullest and she will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Brad Louviere Sr.; children, Melissa Bouton Veronie, Kevin Bouton and wife Kalliawatey, Christopher Bouton, Dustin Louviere and wife Amanda, Andy Louviere and wife Jessica; step children, Brad Louviere Jr. and wife Jovita, Sherry Louviere Gary and husband Gerald, Rachael Louviere Romero and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Ashley Bouton, Jamie Arcement, Chelsea Veronie, Rusty Veronie, Breydon Romero, Harlee Duplantis, Brandon Bouton, Jorden Duplantis, Breaunna Romero, Christian Bouton, Kortni Louviere, Bracelynn Romero, Addyson Louviere, Anna Bouton, Lyndi Landry; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Meche, Ryan Meche; siblings, Fernand Hebert Jr. and wife Mary Jane, Michael Hebert, Mark Hebert, Deborah Hebert Poindexter and husband Mark, Brian Hebert; mother-in-law, Lorraine Daigle; and sister-in-law, Janice Helms and husband Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernand and Anna Landry Hebert; and one sister, Loxie Hebert.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Kevin Bouton, Christopher Bouton, Dustin Louviere, Andy Louviere, Brad Louviere Jr., and Brandon Bouton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rusty Veronie, and Christian Bouton.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rinaldi, Dr. Langlinais, and the Iberia Medical Center ICU nurses Chad, Kim, and Lindy for the excellent care given to Mrs. Louviere.
