Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Joseph Vidallia the former Emma Loignon, 83, will be held at 2:00PM with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at David funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native of Delcambre and a resident of Erath Mrs. Vidallia died 12:15AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital. She was known for her enjoyment of cooking for people; spending time with her grandchildren; gardening and sewing. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Vidallia of Erath and Larry Vidallia and his wife Patsy of Erath; a brothers, Curtis Loignon of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Stacey Mire, Kimmy Vidallia, Brandie Vidallia, and Seth Vidallia; and five great grandchildren, Holley Mire, Zachary Mire, Gage Laviolette, Conner Vidallia, and Kaidyn Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph N. Vidallia, her parents, Numa and Laura Goutierrez Loignon; three brothers, Clarence Loignon, Lawrence Loignon, and Vernick Loignon; and three sisters, Verna Prejean, Thelma Olivia, and Lena Mae Guilbeaux. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Vidallia, Zachary Mire, Pervis Suire, Brett Broussard, Pat Boudreaux, and Johnny Bertrand. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Curtis loignon The family would like to extend a special thanks to Judy, Eva, and Vergie for their friendship to their mother. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
