Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Leroy A. Decuir, age 87, Saturday July 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Visitation will begin Friday July 29, 2011 at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Saturday July 30, 2011 at 8:00 AM until service time. Military Graveside Services will follow in St. Joseph Mausoleum. A native of New Iberia and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Decuir died Thursday July 28, 2011 at 3:05AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Decuir served in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran. He was a farmer and business owner of a Texaco Filing Station for 50 years before retirement. Mr. Decuir is survived by his wife, Jenny Lee Segura Decuir of Loreauville; daughter, Julie D. Prudhomme and husband Joseph of Pigeon Forge, TN; sons, Kim J. Decuir and David R. Decuir and wife Kat, all of New Iberia; brother, Perry Decuir and sister, Elsie D. Pouliot, both of New Iberia; grandchildren, Mary Beth D. Suire and husband Brian of New Iberia; Chris D. Louviere and wife Mariah H. Louviere of Raleigh, NC and Derek Decuir of New Iberia; great-grandchildren, Ashley W. Louviere of Magnolia, TX; Carleigh N. Louviere and Lillian G. Louviere, both of Raleigh, TX; Regan and Rece Suire, both of New Iberia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Maria LeBlanc Decuir, sister, Ida DeHart and brother, Oswald Decuir.
