Judy Lancon Thibodaux

Visitation will begin Friday July 15, 2011 from 9:00am until service time. Recitation of the Rosary will be lead by Andrew and Diana Aucoin beginning at 11:00am.
A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Thibodaux died Wednesday July 13, 2011 at 8:36am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she treasured the infinite joy she felt when caring for her family. Judys hobbies included taking trips to the casino and shopping; in her younger years she loved to dance. She enjoyed family gatherings and those times spent with family, were Judys most cherished moments.
Mrs. Thibodaux is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jackie Thibodaux; daughters, Tana Martin and husband Mark, Vicky LeBlanc and husband Harold and Michelle Broussard and husband Gene; sisters, Dale Aucoin, Janice Sonnier and husband Isaac and Marlene DeRouen and husband Guy; grandchildren, Kati and Noel Martin, Raegan and Ridge LeBlanc and Abbie Broussard, all of Jeanerette; and her beloved dog, Daisy.
Mrs. Thibodaux was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lancon and Elmire Segura Lancon.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Martin, Gene Broussard, Harold LeBlanc, Ridge LeBlanc, Guy DeRouen and Terry Charpentier.
Honorary pallbearer will be Isaac Sonnier. The Thibodaux family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Nita and Terry Charpentier, Linda Legnon, Dr. Kurt OBrien and Dr. Christopher Lagraize, for the compassionate care given to Judy.
