Denis Henry Duboulay

New Iberia- Memorial services will be conducted for Mr. Denis Henry DuBoulay, age 79, Wednesday October 5, 2011 at 11:00AM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will begin Tuesday October 4, 2011 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and will resume Wednesday October 5, 2011 from 9:00AM until service time.

A native of Castries, St. Lucia and resident of New Iberia, Mr. DuBoulay died Monday October 3, 2011 at 12:55PM in a Lafayette hospital. Denis was employed with Cajun Sugar Co-Op for 19 years and was previously employed with Sterling Sugars in Franklin and Sinclare Sugar Factory in Brusly, LA. Mr. DuBoulay was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. DuBoulay is survived by his wife, Edna DuBoulay of New Iberia; daughter, Carrol G. Picou and husband Armand of Taft, TX; son, Joseph A. DuBoulay and wife Karen, grandchildren, Mary and Emily DuBoulay, all of Brusly; brother, George DuBoulay of Davao City, Philippines; sister, Marie Louise Habgood of Ontario, Canada; and all of his co-workers and dear friends at Cajun Sugar Co-Op.

Mr. DuBoulay was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Fanny DuBoulay, and his brother, Arthur DuBoulay.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends of Mr. DuBoulay.
