Brooke Suire Bodin

New Iberia- Funeral services for Mrs. Kenneth Bodin, the former Brooke Suire, will be conducted Friday July 22, 2011 at 10:00AM at the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Barry Crochet officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday July 21, 2011 at 3:00PM and end at 10:00PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday at 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mire Cemetery in Kaplan.

Mrs. Bodin, age 24, passed away Monday July 18, 2011 at 5:00PM at Iberia Medical Center where she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for four and a half years.

Survivors include husband, Kenneth P. Bodin of New Iberia; Daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Bodin of New Iberia; Parents, Richard Suire of Kaplan, and Shantell Lege of Abbeville; half-brothers,Kylon Louviere, and Dillion Suire, both of Kaplan; half-sister, Jordan Louviere, also of Kaplan; maternal grandparents, Elray and Brenda Lege of Kaplan; paternal grandmother, Olivia Suire; father-in-law, Neal Bodin of New Iberia; and sister-in-law, Brittany Bodin of New Iberia.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Obrey Suire; and mother-in-law, Tammy Chauvin Bodin.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rodney Lege, Jonathon Sunburg,Shaine Stelly, Wade Guillotte, Brian Suire, and Neal Bodin.
