Irene Meyers Landry

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Landry died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 9:30AM at Iberia Medical Center.

Mrs. Landry worked for Comptons Jewelry Store for 30 years.

Survivors include her children, Gabriel Landry Jr. of New Iberia, Larry Gene Landry and wife Judy of Orange, Texas and Diane Foote and husband Kenneth of Poway, California, one sister, Gernice Dore and husband L.J. of New Iberia and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Landry Sr., parents, Tartule and Marie Ordeneaux Meyers, brothers, Herbert, Adam, Porteus P.J and Murphy Meyers Sr. and sisters, Emerine Nugent and Rita Hall Kelly.

Pallbearers will be family members.
