Broussard- A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Charles Guidry, Jr., 69, will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Broussard with Rev. Louis Richard, officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 12:00PM until just prior to service time at church. A native and resident of Broussard, LA Mr. Guidry passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Charles knew the importance of life; family, friends, his spirituality and the power of kindness. He loved talking to people and had the ability to genuinely connect with anyone. With an incredible faith and personal relationship with God, he was always exploring and challenging his faith. Charles had a great sense of humor, loved movies, reading and had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. His love of learning was evident throughout his life and with everyone he came in contact with. Charles last wish would no doubt be that he hopes this letter finds YOU in good health and high spirits! Rest In Peace our kind, gentle Dad. He is survived by his children, Chas Guidry of Seattle, WA, Cabot Guidry and his wife, Wati of Seattle, WA, Michelle Guidry Wallace and her husband, Jason of Yokosuka, Japan and Mariette Guidry of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Aris Guidry of Seattle, WA, Gavin Wallace of Yokosuka, Japan and Morgan Wallace also of Yokosuka, Japan; his childrens mother, Marje Mouton of Hanka, Thailand and his sister, Clarice Vollenweider and her husband, Ed of Broussard, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Charles Guidry, Sr. and Corine Hollier Guidry.
