New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Joseph Anthony Boudoin, 83 Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 3pm at David Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Entombment will follow in at St. Johns Mausoleum in Jeanerette. Visitation will be Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 9am until service. Joseph was a native of Paradis, La. and resident of Jeanerette. Mr. Boudoin died Sunday July 15, 2012 at 2pm at his residence in Jeanerette. He was a retired oilfield superintendent, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Woodman of the World, American Legion, and VFW in Jeanerette, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, dancing and spending time with his family. He loved life, and was a hard working man. He was always there to help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife Zora Kramer Boudoin, sister Marie Boudoin Breaux, sons Clemile & wife Debbie Boudoin, Allen Boudoin Sr. & fianc Shannon Landry, son in law Barry Breaux, daughters Sharon & husband Moise Guillotte, Ellen & husband Dana Landry, Julia & husband Gregory Perret, grandchildren Chad & wife Christine Breaux, Doug Breaux and fianc Ashley , Joseph & wife Amy Boudoin, Mary Walker, Jill & husband Chuck Migues, Coy & wife Kimberly Guillotte, Rachelle & husband Gene Migues, Allen Boudoin Jr. & fianc Erica, Ferran & husband Mikey Rogers, Wesley and Roxie Boudoin, Cody Boudoin, Dexter Landry, Matthew Perret, Jonathan Perret and Luke Perret. His stepchildren Diane & husband Greg Mitzel, Mark & wife Maria Glorioso, Barbara & husband Robbie Broussard, Sandra & husband Kirk Landry. Step grandchildren Mary, Elizabeth, Slade, Gabbie, Kathy, Nicholas, Megan, Morgan, Emilie, Raquel, Jessica, Josef, & Makenna and his 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Clemile & Olive Boudoin, his first wife Alberta Aucoin Boudoin, Daughter Annaise Breaux, Daughter in Law Linda Boudoin and grandson Elliott John Boudoin. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Chad Breaux, Joseph Boudoin, Coy Guillotte, Allen Boudoin Jr., Dexter Landry and Mathew Perret. The family would like to say Thanks to the Heart of Hospice nurses and aids that did such a wonderful job caring for our father.
