Henderson " A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Alan Reed Jambon, 59, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Deacon Jim Davis officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Golden Meadow and resident of Henderson, Mr. Jambon passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Laura Cosby Jambon of Henderson; his sons, Logan Michael Jambon and Carson Reno Jambon, both of Henderson; his father, Larry P. Jambon of Youngsville; his siblings, Judy Jane Baudoin and husband Lynn of Lafayette, Teena Maria Sparks and husband Wade of Houston, TX and Kieron Lee Joseph Jambon and wife Linda of Lafayette; brother-in-law, Brian Cosby and his son Dawson of Port Barre, LA; and sister-in-law, Lillian Derouen Jambon of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eugenie Jane Broussard Jambon; his brother, Michael Anthony Jambon; father-in-law, Chester Carson Cosby; and his mother-in-law, Cammy Aline Atwood Cosby. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Jambon, Carson Jambon, Kieron Jambon, Brian Cosby, Donald Domingue and Eddie Garcia.
