Abbeville " Funeral Service for Shelton Adam Foreman, 71, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 2, 2011 at David Funeral Chapel of Abbeville with Fr. Gilbert Dutel officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Maurice and a resident Abbeville Mr. Foreman died at 3:20PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at a Lafayette Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Delores Clostio Foreman of Abbeville; a son, Kirk Foreman of Abbeville and his former wife Robin Foreman of Erath; three daughters, Pricilla F. Schexnider and her husband Ray of Abbeville, Dona F. Boudreaux and her husband Jerry of Lafayette, and Phyllis Foreman of Delcambre; five brothers, Eldes Popeye Foreman and wife Arline of Maurice, Clifford Foreman and wife Bonnie of Lafayette, Wilbert T-Black Foreman and wife Evelyn of Milton, Elwood Foreman of Lafayette, and Leewood Foreman and wife Helen of Milton and his former wife Rose Harrington; a sister, Mary F. Clark of Maurice; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Hebert, Erika Hebert, Paige Boudreaux, Hannah Foreman, Haley Foreman, Jeremy J.B. Boudreaux, Odin Schexnider, and Alea Schexnider; and three great grandchildren, Cecely Hebert, Kaiely Hebert, and Jeremy Hebert, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minus and Edia Abshire Foreman; brother in law, Curley Clostio; son in law, Tony Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Foreman, Ray Clark, Greg Foreman, Joey Foreman, Lucas Foreman, Elwood Foreman, Jr., Glenn Toups, Jr., and Alex Clostio, Jr. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
