Jeanerette- Memorial services for Mrs. Sydney Landry, age 62, will be held on Thursday January 10, 2013 at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette with Father Dismas Mauk to serve as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 9:00AM and last until service time at 11:00AM. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00AM. Mrs. Landry passed away on Monday January 7, 2013 at 2:45PM at her residence in Jeanerette. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed the simple life and caring for her family. Her heart was pure and she will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronnie Landry of Jeanerette, son, Chad Landry and wife Kimberly of Carencro; daughter, Holly L. Connolly and husband Erin of Morgan City; grandchildren, Laudun Michael Landry and Bailey Clarie Landry both of Carencro; Madison Marie Connolly of Morgan City; and her three best friends, Linda Legnon, Jacquelyn Landry, and Lynn Hotard. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donation be made to Heart of Hospice, 201 West Vermilion Street,Lafayette, LA. 70501 David Funeral Home of Jeanerette, 400 Provost St. (337)276-5151 is in charge of arrangements.
