Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Whitney Touchet the former Amy Foreman, 65, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Abshire Cemetery in Leroy. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath Mrs. Touchet died at 9:10PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at a Lafayette Hospital. She was known for her enjoyment of working with her plants. She is survived by two sons, Troy Touchet and Scott Touchet both of Erath; three daughters, Vickie Hoyem and her husband Patrick of Erath, Candy Campbell and her husband Walter of Erath, and Annette Frederick and her husband Ricky of Abbeville; four sisters, Betty Book of Erath, Mary Conner of Erath, Irene Cliffton of Ocean Springs, MS, and Janet Mallet of Erath; twelve grandchildren, Natasha, Ashley, Heather, Katie, Amy, Brittney, R.J., Whitney, Jake, Zachary, Zander, and Madison; one grandchild on the way, Jaden; two step grandchildren, Brooke and Joshua; and two great grandchildren, Makinzie and Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Touchet; parents, Allen and Ella Viator Foreman; and a brother, Billy Foreman. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Theall, Joshua Campbell, Jake Trahan, R.J. Frederick, Shane Castille, and Natasha Trahan. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Campbell and Zander Touchet. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
