New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Donna Donna Belle Menard Arnaud, Age 48, at 10:00AM Wednesday September 7, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Coteau. Visitation will be Tuesday September 6, 2011 from 4:00PM until service time Wednesday. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday at 6:30PM. After a double lung transplant and numerous complications Donna Belle died Friday September 2, 2011 at 4:00PM in a Lafayette hospital. She enjoyed going out with her friends, playing video poker, fishing, watching World News Tonight and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Scott Arnaud and wife Dawn of Delcambre, parents, Eugene and Mary Jane Viator Menard of Coteau, her sister, soul mate, and caregiver, Denise Niece Menard of Coteau, sisters, Debra M. Andre and husband Artie of Houma and Dayna M. Verret and husband Craig of New Iberia, brothers, Darrel Menard and wife Melissa of Coteau and David Menard and wife Memorie of Denham Springs, Godchildren and caregivers, Lani and Malori Menard both of Coteau and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Scott Arnaud, nephew, Daniel Wayne Menard, maternal grandparents, Harry and Agnes Viator and paternal grandparents, Homer and Azilda Menard and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Darrel and David Menard, Scott Arnaud, Keith Arnaud, Sr., Keith Arnaud Jr., and Kevin Sonnier.
