Youngsville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Maudrey Hebert Champagne, 72, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, LA with Rev. Jason Mouton as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM at the funeral home and will resume on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 8:00AM until just prior to services. Entombment will follow the church service at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. A longtime resident of Youngsville, LA , Mrs. Champagne passed away at Lafayette General Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Joseph J. Champagne, Jr.; children, Kevin Sonnier and his wife, Phyllis, Carla Ballew and her husband, Peter, Garrett Sonnier and his wife, Kayla, Corwyn Sonnier and Donalyn Vallot and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Meghan Sonnier, Eric Carter, Kyle Carter, Jacob Ballew, Zack Ballew, Ryan Sonnier, Ronnie Sonnier, Landon Sonnier, Lance Sonnier, Kaitlyn Sonnier, Cole Sonnier and Kaily Vallot; Great-grandchildren, Gabe Trevizo and Haedyn Simar; brothers, Warren Hebert and his wife, Ruby, Charles Hebert and his wife, Lucy and Roland Hebert and his wife Ella Mae; step-children, Delta Abadie and Kenneth Gerard. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aline Trahan Hebert; son, Randall Sonnier and the father of her children, Donald J. Sonnier. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kevin Sonnier, Garrett Sonnier, Corwyn Sonnier, Peter Ballew, Chris Vallot and Jacob Ballew.
