Mrs. Broussard especially took delight in having a toe-tapping good time, dancing to Cajun and French music with her husband and dance partner of almost 75 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mrs. Broussard and her husband participated for many years in Woodmen of the World and Farm Bureau activities. She also enjoyed helping to preserve her Cajun-French heritage for future generations. Survivors include her husband Perfay Broussard; two daughters, Ann Clostio and her husband Gerald of Abbeville, and Nellie Broussard of Erath; one daughter-in-law, Jane Broussard of Erath; two sisters, Lelia Shaw of Los Angeles, California and Philoman Suire of Abbeville; 10 grandchildren, Mark Broussard and his wife Shelly, Eric Clostio and his wife Dawn, Scott Clostio and his wife Jacquelyn, Trent Clostio and his wife Kay, Cody Clostio and his wife Halley, James "Buddy" Clostio and his wife Sharon, Chris Clostio Saxby, Jason Broussard and his wife Laurie, Amy Broussard LeBlanc and her husband Lance and Seth Broussard; 18 great-grandchildren and one 1 great-great-grandson.
