Maudry Dubois Hebert

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Avery Island and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert died on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 5:23 AM at her residence. She retired as a secretary from the McIlhenny Company after 37 ½ years of employment and then went to work as a receptionist at Dr. Roy Lassalles Medical Office. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Unit 335. She belonged to Motor Home Clubs, Bayou Ramblers and Crusin Cajuns. She love to cook, go camping, play cards and loved flowers.

She is survived by her husband, James S. Jimmy Hebert; her step-daughters, Brenda Hebert and her husband Adam and Bonita Morrogh and her husband Kenneth; her step-sons, Darrel Hebert and his wife Mary, Gerald Hebert and his wife Lori and Keith Hebert all of New Iberia; her brothers, Joseph Dubois of Avery Island, Lloyd Dubois of Lake Charles and Walter Dubois of New Iberia; her step grandchildren, Paul Gajan and his wife Jennifer, Kimberly Rayner and her husband Benny, Dwight DuBose and his wife Theresa, Kevin Hebert and his wife Tracy, Beau Hebert and Danielle Hebert; her step great grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Ryan, Courtney and Jackson Gajan, Lindsey and Zachary DuBose and Khloe Hebert and her step great great grandchild, Addison McJimsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Drozin and Antoinette Broussard Dubois; her brothers, Fernest Dubois, Fernand Dubois and Junis Dubois and her sisters, Leona Rodrigue, Emeritte Landry, Electra Renard and Nola Dubois.

Pallbearers will be Keith and Adam Hebert, Walter, Jeff, Leny and Greg Dubois.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darrel and Gerald Hebert, Mike Dubois and Troyee Dubois.
