Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Corbet Joseph Domingues the former Velma LeBlanc, 87, will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Msgr. Charles Dubois officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Sunday, September 11, 2011 beginning at 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM.Visitation will resume on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 8:00AM until time of service. Entombment will follow services at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native and lifelong resident of Erath, Mrs. Domingues was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who lived for her family and treasured each and every moment she spent with them. She was a hairdresser and a homemaker who was deeply involved with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Erath as a Sacristian for many years as well as being involved in many other school, community and civic affairs. She is survived by her sons, Corbet Jimmy Domingues and his wife, Annie P., Edward J. Ed Domingues and his wife, Rickey S., Robert T-Bob Domingues and his wife, Cheryl F. and Dewey Louis Domingues and his wife Alison Z. all of Erath. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbet Joseph Domingues; parents, Wiltz and Beatrice Brown LeBlanc and two sisters, Dora L. LeBlanc and Grace L. Bares. Serving as pallbearers will be her eldest grandsons, Errol Joseph Domingues, Corbet James Domingues, Jr., David Robert Domingues, Tyler Louis Domingues, Philip Dwayne Domingues and her great-grandchild, Timothy James T.J. Leblanc, III. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sam Domingues, Matt Domingues, Austin Domingues, Blake Domingues, Catherine Domingues, Caitlin Domingues, Charles Ed Turner, Blaine Turner, Madeline LeBlanc, Jake LeBlanc, Peter LeBlanc, Daniel Domingues, Seth Domingues, Owen Domingues, Leila Deslatte and Chase Paul Norris. Serving as readers will be her grandchildren, Mary LeBlanc and Jennifer Domingues Norris. Serving as gift bearers will be her granddaughters, Jeanne Domingues Turner and Leslie Deslatte.
