Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Hazel Landry Dore, 84, will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 9:00AM until just prior to service time. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 AM and entombment will follow services at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native of Erath and a resident of Abbeville Mrs. Dore passed away on October 31, 2011 at Eastridge Nursing Home in Abbeville. She is survived by her son, Paul Allen Dore and his wife, Rhoda of Houston, TX; daughters, Diana D. Broussard and her husband, Shelley of Abbeville and Edna D. Broussard of Erath; grandson, Tony Faulk, Jr. of Erath; grand-daughters, Lauren E. Broussard of Abbeville, Alexandra L. Dore of Houston, TX and Emily K. Broussard of Baton Rouge; great-grandson Ridge Faulk of Erath and one brother, Louis Landry and his wife Ida of Erath. Serving as pallbearers will be members of Mrs. Dores family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Dore; parents, Eusa Landry and Edna Hebert Landry; one brother, Rives Landry and one sister, Celia Hebert.
