New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Ellie David the former Agnes Touchet, Age 95, at 11:00AM Thursday August 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father William Gearheard officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday August 8, 2012 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Vermilion Parish and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. David died Monday August 6, 2012 at 5:25PM at her residence in New Iberia. Mrs. David enjoyed gardening, walking and going to Church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Shirley D. Dautreuil and Ada Belle Broussard both of New Iberia and Eddie David and wife Cheryl of Coteau; one sister, Dorothy T. Toucheque of Port Arthur, Texas; one brother, Gene L. Touchet and wife Olga Mae of Killeen, Texas; grandchildren, Ted Broussard, Carrie Verret, Shirley Guillotte, Michael Broussard, Tina Coughlin, Randy Broussard, Topy Broussard, Paula D. Arceneaux, Melanie D. Romero, Eva D. Sonnier, Kenneth Ray Dautreuil Jr., Krystal Viator, Misty David, Eddie David, Monica David, Paulette Lambert and Purvis David Jr.; 46 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellie David; parents, Eloi and Marie Viator Touchet; one son, Purvis J. David; grandchild, Cindy Lee Dautreuil; great grandchild, Antonio Collins; brothers, Joseph and Gus Touchet; sisters, Anita Romero, Della Bergeron, Rita Bodin and Rena Bourque and two son in laws, Kenneth Dautreuil and J.R. Broussard. Pallbearers will be Ted and Topy Broussard, Zechariah Arceneaux, Kevin Hippler, Jessie Viator and Bryce Polk. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
