Geraldine "Gerry" Naquin

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Clarence P. Naquin, the former, Geraldine Gerry Jolet, age 85, Wednesday December 5, 2012 at 12:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel-New Iberia with Rev. Ron Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 10:00AM until service time.

A native of Weeks Island and resident of Lydia, Mrs. Naquin died Monday December 3, 2012 at 8:34AM at Belle Teche Nursing Home. Gerry was a Pink Lady at Iber ia M edical Center for 25 years and a lifetime member of the Council on Aging. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, reading, watching baseball and cheering on her favorite team, the Atlanta Braves.

Mrs. Naquin is survived by her daughter, Deborah Strickland of New Iberia; grandchildren, Joshua P. Strickland of Lafayette and Mary Beth S. Hazell of New Iberia; and great-grandchildren Adam Paul Hazell and Gabrial Paul Hazell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney J. Jolet and Lucille Borel Jolet and her sisters, Edna Mae Areno and Violet Turner.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
