Maurice " Funeral Services for James Primeaux, 71, will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church Milton with Bro. Beau Guidry and Bro. Tom Lambert officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 8:00AM until 11:30AM at David Funeral Home of Erath, then from 12:30PM until the time of the services at First Baptist Church Milton. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. A native of Erath and a resident of Maurice Mr. Primeaux died at 2:12AM at a Lafayette Hospital. He proudly served his country in the US Army; and was known for his willingness to help others. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Trosclair Primeaux of Maurice; a son, Bart Primeaux and his wife Mona of Cow Island; three daughters, Carolyn Bourque and her husband Jimmy of Kaplan, Tina Broussard of Delcambre, and Stacy Duhon of Abbeville; a step daughter, Robin Kilchrist and her husband Karl of Lafayette; three sisters, Cloma Broussard of Lake Charles, Eloise Bouillion of Erath, and Janelle Fillman of Grand Junction, CO; eleven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fergust and Nina Landry Primeaux; two brothers, Bradley Primeaux and Larry Primeaux; and two sisters, Lilda Delcambre and Wanda Reaux. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Bourque, Justin Bourque, Zachary Broussard, Benjamin Broussard, Kameron Kilchrist, and Kade Kilchrist. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Travis Hebert.
