Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Herbert Pop Robin, age 70, Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 2:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday February 4, 2013 at 10:00am until 10:00pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 8:00am until service time.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Robin died Friday February 1, 2013 at 5:35pm at his residence. Pop enjoyed fishing, planting orange trees, gardening, watching football and boxing. He loved spending time with family and his canine companion Louie .

Mr. Robin is survived by his children, Lisa Dartez and husband John of New Iberia; Julie Decoux and husband Michael, Herbert Robin and companion Marion, Alan Robin, and Warren Sam Robin and wife Misty, all of Loreauville; siblings, Theresa Bourque of New Iberia, Mary Etie and husband George, Warren M. Robin and wife Margie and Allen Robin, all of Loreauville; grandchildren, Robyn Chataignier, Dustin Robin, Bobby Stevens III, Shelby Stevens, Michael Decoux, Jr., Dylan, Ty, Brittany and Nicole Robin, Mindy and Mandy Dartez; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Kylon and Karli Chataignier.

Mr. Robin was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Guidry Robin, his daughter, Editha Robin and his parents, Maurice and Editha Chaisson Robin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Warren Sam Robin, Alan Robin, Herbert Jude Robin, Pete Dartez, Bobby Stevens and Michael Decoux.

Honorary pallbearers will be T Boy Chataignier, Warren, Allen and Ty Robin, Toby Viator and Dean Etie.
