New Iberia- Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde Boutte, the former Linda Walker, age 69, will be held on Monday February 4, 2013 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 602 Bayard Street with President Eugene Harvey presiding. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home beginning Monday morning at 10:00am and last until service time. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. A native of Houston, Tx. and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Boutte passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 5:45am at her residence after a four year battle with cancer. Mrs. Boutte worked alongside her husband as manager of Clydes Hair Designs. In her spare time she enjoyed working in the yard and garden, participating in church fundraisers and activities, sewing, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Clyde Boutte of New Iberia; children, Lisa Boutte and fianc Chris Gilbreath of Austin, Tx. and Craig Boutte and wife Hope of Prairieville; mother, Doris Walker Bundy of St. George, Utah; grandchildren, Marc Dautreuil II and fiance Ginny Eaton of Austin, Tx., Casey Dautreuil of New Iberia, Caroline Boutte, Anne Marie Boutte, and Jonas Boutte all of Prairieville, great granddaughter, Halle Dautreuil of New Iberia; sisters, Cynthia Thayne and husband John of Magnolia, Tx., and Beth Livesay and husband James of Pearland, Tx; brothers; Carl Walker and wife Barbara of St. Francisville, and Douglas Walker and wife Morgan of New Iberia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Z. Walker, Jr. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Marc Dautreuil II, Casey Dautreuil, Jonas Boutte, Joshua Walker, Phillip Livesay, and Chris Walker. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Mrs. Bouttes honor be made to Family Choice Care Hospice, 106 Deertree Dr. Lafayette, La. 70507.
