Roland "Joey" Landry, Jr.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Landry died on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 5:44 AM at his residence. He was employed at Blue Fin in New Iberia and was the former owner and operator of Joeys Chevron in Jeanerette. He liked hunting, fishing, boat riding and old time cars. He liked to have fun and had a zest for life.

He is survived by his step-daughters, Rebecca Knighten and Destine Knighten both of Monroe; his step-son, Zach Brasseaux of Monroe; his nieces, Reva LeBlanc and her husband Korie, Brandy Cornwell and her husband Tyler all of New Iberia, Dwana Landry, Sheryl Bertrand and her husband Ian all of Jeanerette, Kayla Landry of Grand Marais and Amy Landry of Lydia; his nephews, Travis Landry of Grand Marais, Blake Landry and his wife Jamee of New Iberia, Shane Landry and his wife Erica, Chad Landry and his wife Melanie all of Breaux Bridge, Rafe Hebert and his wife Samantha of Youngsville and Aaron Landry of Jeanerette; his great-nephews, Ashton LeBlanc, Korie LeBlanc, Jr. and Dakota Billiot all of New Iberia; his great-nieces, Emma Landry of Grand Marais, Alexandria Landry and Emily Landry both of New Iberia; his brothers, Randy Landry and his wife Helen of New Iberia, Todd Landry and his wife Marlene of Grand Marais and Timothy Gup Landry and his wife Shelia of Jeanerette and his step-brothers, Ronald Landry and his wife Cindy of Lydia and Donald Landry and his wife Rose of Jeanerette.

He is also survived by his fiancee, Irene Smith; his fiancees children, Leonce Smith, Jr., Chuck Smith, Victoria Smith and Roxanne Smith and his fiancees grandchild, Xavier Smith all of St. Martinville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Landry, Sr. and Marie Russell Landry.

Pallbearers will be Randy Landry, Todd Landry, Timothy Gup Landry, Dean Robin, Jason Fontenot and David Ducky Pugh.

Honorary pallbearers will be Todd A. Landry, John Bacon, Blake Landry, Travis Landry, Terry Weber, Dwana Landry, Reva LeBlanc, Ronald Landry and Donald Landry.
