Maurice - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Gene Faulk the former Lula Romero, 65, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Milton with Fr. Aaron Melancon officiating. Visitation will be a David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Petry Cemetery.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of Maurice Mrs. Faulk died at 6:56AM on Monday, November 12, 2012. She was a member of the Women Auxillary of Milton. She also enjoyed working with ceramics and doing woodwork.

She is survived by her husband Gene T. Faulk of Maurice; two sons, Nerry Gene Faulk and his wife Rhonda, and Jason Paul Faulk both of Odessa, TX; a daughter, Lynette and her husband Michael Morrison, Sr. of Maurice; a brother, Francis Romero of Maurice; and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

she was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ozeme and Annie Mae Pirren Romero.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Morrison, Sr., Michael Morrison, Jr., Paul Morrison, Jason Faulk, Nerry Faulk, and John Breaux.
