Lawrence K. "Larry" Dahlstrom
October 15, 1936 — October 17, 2011
A native of New Orleans and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Dahlstrom died Monday October 17, 2011 at 4:00PM at a local hospital. Larry was a surveyor with C. H. Fenstermaker and Associates for 45 ½ years and operated a courier service for Dauterive Hospital for 10 years.
Mr. Dahlstrom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Larrie AnneDeCoux Dahlstrom of New Iberia; daughters, Catherine D. Elmer and husband Walter A. Elmer and Amy D. Slantis and husband Philip, all of New Iberia, son, David L. Dahlstrom of Hermanville, MS; grandchildren, Kristen E. Masciarelli, Jillian C. Musso, Nicholas J. Gary, Dawn E. Slayton, Christopher R. Elmer and Matthew J. Elmer, brother, Donald G. Dahlstrom of Houston, TX; sisters, Sr. Libby Dahlstrom O Carm of Chicago, IL and Erica L. Dahlstrom of New Iberia.
Mr. Dahlstrom was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. Dahlstrom, Sr. and Marie Carmen Keller Dahlstrom and his brother, Roy E. Dahlstrom, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Walter A. Elmer, Philip Slantis, Matthew J. Elmer, Christopher R. Elmer, Les Champagne and Willie J. Elmer, Jr.
