Jeanerette " A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mrs. Sam Sherville, Sr. the former Inez Rodriguez, Age 82, at 11:00AM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux and Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. Born March 29, 1930 in Ashton, Mrs. Sherville died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11:32PM at her daughters residence in New Iberia. Mrs. Sherville was a loving mother and the best cook ever. She loved her family and in the last days enjoyed playing bingo. She had much love for her Lil dog Coco as well as a good cup of coffee. Survivors include her sons, Lawrence, Sam Jr., Randy and Drapeau, daughters, Cynthia, Elizabeth Doodle and Anita, a brother, Ronald Rodriguez, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She now joins in glory with her husband, Sam Sherville, Sr., her parents, Oday Rodriguez Sr. and Enez Mallet Rodriguez, brothers, Lionel, Oday Jr. Shirley and Felix Rodriguez, 2 sisters, Kathleen Landry and Lois Fitzgerald and a son-in-law, George Howard Muffoletto. Pallbearers will be Lawrence, Randy, Drapeau and Nicholas Nick Sherville, Ronald Rodriguez and Michael Telford. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Sherville, Jr and Earl Robin.
