Nellie Broussard Faucheaux

Loreauville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 2:00PM at St. Josephs Catholic Church for Mrs. James C. Faucheaux Sr., the former Nellie Broussard. Father Buddy Breaux will serve as officiant. Visitation will begin on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 9:00AM and last until service time with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery. A native of St. Martinville and resident of Loreauville, Ms. Nellie, age 70, passed away Monday November 7, 2011 at 2:12AM at a local hospital. Ms. Nellie was a teachers aid for many years for several schools in Iberia Parish. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and gardening. She also loved fishing at Toledo Bend. Mrs. Faucheaux is survived by her husband, James C. Faucheaux Sr.; children, James C. Faucheaux Jr. and wife Julie of Loreauville, Ella F. Breaux and husband Roy Jr. of Loreauville, and Angela Faucheaux of Loreauville; grandchildren Kamryn Breaux, Trey Breaux, and Ashley Faucheaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Ovignac Broussard and Ella Verret Broussard; and three sisters, Lilly Trahan, Lorena Dupoy, and Florence Chastant. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
