Maria Dupre Courtois

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Maria Dupre Courtois, Age 50, at 10:00AM Monday July 9, 2012 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday July 8, 2012 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday July 9, 2012 from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Maria died Friday July 6, 2012 at 4:20PM at Iberia Medical Center. Maria enjoyed nature and animals. She always had a place in her heart for everyone she met. She was also an accomplished piano player. Survivors include her husband, Albert Courtois of New Iberia, her mother, Laura East Dupre of New Iberia, one brother, Christopher J. Dupre of Lafayette, two nephews, Christian Brasseaux of Dallas, Texas and John Vice of New Iberia and a niece, Laci Vice of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her father, John Dupre and a brother, Keith J. Vice. Pallbearers will be Steve Gautreaux, Phil Cartimiglia, Bobby Wiggins, Mike Landry, Chickley Thibodeaux and Wade East.
