New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Waylon James Broussard, Age 31, at 2:30PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 11:00AM. Born in Lafayette and a longtime resident of New Iberia and current resident of St. Martinville, Waylon died Friday September 30, 2011 at 12:05PM in Las Vegas, Nevada. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing and going to the casino. Survivors include his mother, Blynn Martin Broussard of Boca Raton, Florida, brothers, William Broussard and fiance Misty Delcambre of New Iberia and Wayne Broussard and wife Tabatha of Rayville, La., fiance Angelle Schaubert of St. Martinville, aunts, Cindy M. Suit and Tara Martin both of Boca Raton, Florida, nephews, Bryson, Beau, Kenneth and Dakota Broussard and his nieces, Brittlyn and Callie Ann Broussard. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Broussard, maternal grandparents, Donald Pee Wee and Rena Martin, an uncle, Donnie Martin and a cousin, Joshua Eric Suit. Pallbearers will be William and Wayne Broussard, Ryan Wiltz, Kain Schaubert, Saydara Sike Phounsavath and Hung Nguyen. Honorary pallbearers will be John Richard Jr., Bryson, Brittlyn, Kenneth, Callie Ann and Dakota Broussard. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
