Annette Laviolette Dugas
April 4, 1921 — December 23, 2012
A native of St. Martinville and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Dugas died Sunday December 23, 2012 at 11:10AM at Iberia Medical Center. She was employed with Iberia Parish School Board for 10 years. A devout Catholic, Mrs. Dugas was a member of the Senior Catholic Daughters of Loreauville for 45 years and Iberia Parish Home Demonstration Club for 60 years. Annette's hobbies included playing cadillac and pokeno, cooking, baking and making quilts for her family.
Mrs. Dugas is survived by her sons, Kenneth Dugas and wife Mary Lynne, Shane Dugas and wife Lisa, all of Loreauville; daughters, Connie Lasseigne and husband Bryan of Coteau and Rose Ann Decuir and husband Byron of Loreauville; grandchildren, Kasey Theriot and husband Jason of St. Martinville; Kevin Dugas and wife Denise of Lafayette; Korey Dugas and wife Tammy of Fort Polk; Kraig Dugas and wife Cissy of Broussard; Kyle Dugas and wife Stacey of St. Martinville; Kelly Dugas and wife Melinda and Karol Dugas, all of Loreauville; Lori Maldonado and husband David of Spring, TX; Barron Lasseigne and wife Jenny of New Iberia; Alicia Mayeaux and husband Phil and Joel Lasseigne and wife Shanna, all of Youngsville; Brienne Dugas and Jeffrey Hebert, both of New Iberia; Jeanne and Lance Dugas and Jana Angelle and husband Ron, all of Loreauville; Michael Decuir and Lauren Carhart, both of Lafayette; Ben Decuir and wife Ashley of New Iberia; Chris Decuir and wife Annie of Cade and Kimberly Decuir of Loreauville; sisters, Inez L. Vincent, Beulah L. Dugas and Jessie L. Patin and husband Thomas; and 33 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dugas was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Dugas; parents, Alexis and Anne Albert Laviolette; granddaughter, Klaire Dugas; brothers, Junius, Chester, Francis, A.J., and MalcolmLaviolette;sisters, Mabel L. Gondron and Yola L. Carter.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Dugas' grandsons, Kevin and Korey Dugas, Barron and Joel Lasseigne, Michael, Benjamin and Christopher Decuir and Lance Dugas, Kyle, Kraig, Kelly and Karol Dugas.
