Erath- Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Shirlene L. Williams, 65, at 2:00PM on Friday, October 7, 2011 at David Funeral Home of Erath with Rev. Twanda Amos of Heart of Hospice officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 10:00AM until just prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. A native of Terrebonne Parish and a long time resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Williams passed away at 10:15PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Iberia Manor South Nursing Home in New Iberia. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Hardy, Jr. of New Iberia and Chris Hardy of Mississippi; sister, Barbara L. Clement of New Iberia; brothers, Wilfred Lirette, Jr. of Vancouver, Washington and Milfred J. Lirette of Houma; half-sisters, Chiquita Budd of Erath, Francine Simon of Tylertown, TX, Joan Tuttle of Houma, JoAnn Falgout of Houma ,Sheri Besson also of Houma and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred Lirette, Sr. and Bessie Griffen Lirette; son, Brent Paul Hardy; brothers, Reggie Lirette, Cordell Lirette ,Chad Renard and her step-mother, Mary Alice Renard.
