Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Cecile Ann Dubois, 67, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, LA with Msgr. Charles Dubois as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Entombment will follow church services at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery. Ms. Dubois passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 at her residence in Erath, LA. She was a native of Vermilion Parish and a longtime resident of Erath where she taught school at Dozier Elementary for 45 years. Her tenure included teaching fourth and first grade classes but the majority of those years were kindergarten classes. She was a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, LA , now ULL, where she earned her Masters Degree. Cecile devoted so much of her time and energy to touching the lives of the children she taught. Her affect on the children she loved and worked with will have a lasting impact in the community. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved cooking, gardening and caring for her pets. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sister, Toni D. Moss and her husband, Ramsey Moss of Erath, LA; two nieces, Donna Moss Bergeron and her husband, Chris of Erath, LA and Tracy Moss Watson and her husband, Eddie also of Erath, LA; one nephew, Christopher Ramsey Moss and his wife, Nicole of Flower Mound, TX and thirteen great nieces and nephews, Lane Bergeron, Leah Bergeron, Linzi Bergeron and Luke Bergeron all of Erath, LA, Fred Watson, Annie Watson, Sarah Watson, Henry Watson and Claire Watson also all of Erath, LA and John Ramsey Moss, William Moss, Andrew Moss and Charlotte Moss all of Flower Mound, TX. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the many people who were a part of caring for Cecile. Thank you to Dr. John Thibodeaux, Dr. Chancelor Donald, the staff at Louisiana Oncology Associates, Heart of Hospice, to those who cared for her at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Lafayette, LA and also to M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX. The outpouring of support from the Erath community, blood drive and prayers said on her behalf are much appreciated. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston Charles Dubois and Antoinette Leleux Dubois.
