Coteau " A Memorial Service will be conducted for Kenneth J. Louviere, Sr. Age 71, at 10:00AM Wednesday October 26, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve LeBlanc officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9:00AM until service time. Raised on Weeks Island and presently living in Coteau, Mr. Louviere died Sunday October 23, 2011 at 11:16AM at his residence. Mr. Louviere retired from Shell Oil Company after 20 years of service. He was the former owner of Joes Drive Inn on Parkview and he enjoyed playing golf and watching football. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Louviere Jr. and wife Lori and Kandi Louviere all of New Iberia and Kody Louviere and wife Lori of Opelousas, two brothers, Johnny Louviere of Jeanerette and Ray Louviere of California and a sister Brenda Louviere Lopez of New Iberia, a special cousin Jean of Charenton, grandchildren, Kenneth Louviere III, Tyler and Kolbe Louviere, Dexter, Dylan and Dustin Freyou, Kendra Stansbury, Hailey, Alyssa and Alayna Louviere and his great grandchildren, Emma Freyou, C.J., Kaiden and Jacob Stansbury. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Desormeaux Louviere, parents, Roy and Ruby Guillotte Louviere and a granddaughter, Kaleigh Louviere. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
