Abbeville- Funeral services for Carlos Medellin Guillen, 36, will be held Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of David Funeral Home in Abbeville. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Ebano San Luis Potosi Mexico and a resident of Erath Carlos died Tuesday August 28, 2012 in Kaplan. Carlos was always there helping others no matter the time or what it cost. He loved to spend time with family and friends cooking outside, he loved music and soccer; he was always joking and lived to the fullest. We ask that all of your memories be good and joyous. He is survived by his wife Sylvie Wyatt Medellin of Erath; one son Samuel Wyatt; and two daughters Kimberly and Valerie Wyatt all of Erath; his father Eleodoro Medellin Cruz of Mexico; three brothers Lidio Medellin, Manuel Medellin, and Ezequiel Medellin all of Mexico; six sisters Teresa Medellin, Daria Medellin, Maria Jesus Leal, Ignacia Medellin, Doleres Medellin, and Angela Medellin all of Mexico. Carlos was preceded in death by his mother Carmen Medellin Guillen, two brothers Felipe and Cecilo M. Guillen, a nephew Juan Leal Medellin, a niece Adriana Medellin.
