New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Michael J. Comeaux the former Catherine Debaney Burns, Age 47, at 12 Noon Friday November 11, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 11, 2011 from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Alabama and longtime resident of New Iberia, Debaney died Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 10:00AM in a New Iberia health care facility. Debaney enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses. Survivors include her husband Michael J. Comeaux of New Iberia, her mother, Barbara Stanley of Tampa, Florida, children, Ashley Comeaux, Brittney Comeaux and Michael J. Comeaux Jr. all of New Iberia, Carren Comeaux and Kayla Comeaux both of Morgan City and Joseph Fuselier of Lafayette, two brothers, Ward Happy Burns of Tampa, Florida and Bobby Burns of Atlanta, Georgia, her father-in-law J.B. Comeaux of New Iberia and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Justin Coleman and her father, Ward Burns. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
