Lucille Waguespack Landry

Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Camille Landry, Sr., the former, Lucille Waguespack age 84, Wednesday November 16, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30am with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Tuesday November 15, 2011 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday November 16, 2011 from 8:00am until service time.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Landry died Sunday November 13, 2011 at 12:00am at a local nursing home. Mrs. Landry was a seamtress with Fruit of The Loom and retired after 15 years of service. Lucille enjoyed reading, attending local rosary group services, gardening, and playing bingo and the card game, casino. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she cherished time spent with family and her grandchildren were her heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Landry is survived by her daughters, Ann St. Germain of Jeanerette and Judy Landry of New Iberia; her son, Camille Landry, Jr. and wife Fran of Franklin; step-daughter, Jean Landry of Florida; grandchildren, Chad Landry and wife Candy of Franklin; Nicole St. Germain of Jeanerette; Ashley Latiolais and companion Jarrod Hargrove of Crowley; Jenny Latiolais of New Iberia and Coy Landry of Franklin; great-grandchildren, Nicholas St. Germain of Georgia; Marceaux Domingue of Lafayette; Preston and Landon Latiolais of New Iberia and soon to be great-grand daughter, London Landry.

Mrs. Landry was preceded in death by her husband, Camille Landry, Sr., step-son, Donald Landry, Sr. and an infant daughter, Lucille Landry.

Serving as pallbearers will be Coy and Chad Landry, Nicholas St. Germain, Camille Landry, Jr., Douglas Martinez, Mitch Domingue, and Jarrod Hargrove.

Honorary pallbearer will be Marceaux Domingue.
