Broussard " A mass of Christian Burial for Dallas J. Bonin Jr., 88, will be held Monday April 2, 2012 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Fr. Edward Duhon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday April 1, 2012 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday April 2, 2012 from 8:00AM until the time of the services .Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Broussard. A resident of Gueydan Mr. Bonin passed away at 2:50 AM on March 30, 2012 at the Lafayette Heart Hospital. Mr. Bonin served his country as a member of the Army Air Corp during WWII. Survivors include his Wife Anastasia Bonin of Gueydan; two sons David Bonin of Broussard, and Greg and his wife Leeanne H. Bonin of Lafayette; one sister Ouida Piggy Wade of Blountville Calif.; three grandsons David Bonin II of Broussard, Sam and Ben Bonin both of Cumming Iowa. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby Romero Bonin; four sisters Wanda Moon, Lucille Hartwell, Emily Blackmar, and Nedia Huges; three brothers Donald, Jerry , and Pio Bonin.
