Euphemie Bonin Leblanc

Loreauville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Jules LeBlanc, the former Euphemie Bonin, age 88, Friday October 14, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Padinjarepeedika officiating. Readings will be read by Emily Skinner. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday October 13, 2011 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday October 14, 2011 from 8:00am until service time.

A native of St. Martinville and resident of Coteau Holmes, Mrs. LeBlanc died Wednesday October 12, 2011 at 11:00am at a local hospital. Phemie enjoyed trips to the casino and dancing.

Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by her daughters, Helen Toffier and husband Curtis of Loreauville; Tammy Gaspard and husband Bradley of Broussard; her son, Kenneth LeBlanc and wife Yvonne of Loreauville; grandchildren, Crystal Chris Toffier of Parks; Pamela Pam Skinner and husband Burton of Youngsville; Jeremy Serrette of Maurice; Toby LeBlanc and fianc Lisa Latiolais of St. Martinville and Lee LeBlanc of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Emily Skinner, Marcus Oubre and Breanna Serrette.

Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband, Jules LeBlanc, her parents, Lucien and Blanche Girouard Bonin, sisters, Denise Boone Broussard, Stephanie Stenie Segura, Eunice Bonin and Stella Rodriguez, brothers, Gustave, Edlas, Dennis, Julien and Willis Bonin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bradley Gaspard, Curtis Toffier, Toby LeBlanc, Toby LeBlanc, Lee LeBlanc, Jeremy Serrette and Kenneth LeBlanc.

Honorary pallbearer will be Marcus Oubre.
