Lafayette- A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering honoring the life of Mitchell Edward Bodoin, 54, will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Mr. Bodoin was a resident of Broussard, LA and passed away August 21, 2012 at his residence. Born May 2, 1958 in Sumter,South Carolina to Joseph Leroy and Shirley Marie Bodoin presently of Broussard, LA spending his childhood traveling the world via the U.S. Air Force with his parents and five brothers. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, husband, uncle and grandpa as well as a wonderful chef . He is survived by his parents; wife, Kathy Duhon-Bodoin; son, Seth Mitchell Bodoin both of Broussard, LA; former wife, Patricia Romero and step-son Christopher Villarreal and his wife Nikki also of Broussard, LA; three daughters, Jessica Navarre and her husband Corey of Opelousas, LA, Tiffany Romero and her husband Brian of Broussard, LA and Leah Boruff-Bodoin of Bloomington, Indiana; three brothers, Eric Bodoin of Mount Juliet, TN, Kirk Bodoin and his wife, Kim of Broussard, LA, Kevin Bodoin and his wife Joann of Suffolk, England; five grandchildren, Trevor Bodoin, Jordan Navarre, Gavin Romero, Tegan Romero and Kamerin Villarreal. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Bodoin and Brent Bodoin both formally of Clearwater, FL. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, LA (337)837-9887, 316 Youngsville Hwy.
