New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles L. Dugan Sr. the former Lucy Lopez, Age 73, at 2:00PM Monday November 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00AM until service time with a Rosary being prayed at 11:00AM. A ritual will be conducted following the Rosary by members of the VFW Post 1982 Ladies Auxiliary. She died Thursday November 10, 2011 at 4:09AM in a local health care facility. Mrs. Dugan was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1982 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed caring for her family and friends especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Dugan, Sr. of Cade, daughters, Coleen Fremin and husband Jerry, Julie Martin and husband Neil, Nathalie Rodriguez and husband Carl and Charlotte Broussard and husband Cory all of Cade, two sons Charles Dugan Jr. and wife Nicole of Youngsville and Lynn P. Dugan of Florida, one brother, Joe Lopez and wife Dorita of Coteau and Dorothy Lopez of New Iberia, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clamire Lopez, Sr. and Elda Poirrier Lopez, three brothers, Sylvester, Gene and Clamire Lopez Jr. and sisters, Verna Mae Myers, Lena Boudreaux, Mary Bonin, Bertha Valenti, Edia Larive,and Camilla Charpentier. Pallbearers will be Jerrod Kern, Clint, Zaius and Gerald Fremin Jr., Charles Dugan Jr. and Brett Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Dugan, Cory Broussard, Neil Martin, Gerald Fremin Sr., Carl Rodriguez and Koy Fremin. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
