Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Willa Mae Broussard, 88, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at David Funeral Home of Erath from 2:00PM until 9:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A native of Grand Chenier and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Broussard died at 3:03PM on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital. Mrs. Broussard taught Catechism in Henry at St. John Catholic Church, had been a volunteer at Abbeville General Hospital, and was a member of The Ladies Altar Society of Henry. She is survived by her son, Wendell Joseph Broussard and his wife Diana of Nunez; brother, Clayton P. Broussard and his wife Birdie of Erath; sisters Carrie Marie Suire of Abbeville, Edna Roy and her husband Darwin of Houma, and Mazel Broussard and her husband Janara of Abbeville; granddaughters, Wendy Jo Newman and her husband Donald, and Laurie Nicole Fontaine and her husband Lance both of Beaumont, Texas. She was preceded in death by her first husband Cletus Broussard and her second husband Paul V. Landry; her parents, Theodore and Lilly Stelly Broussard; grandchild, Clay Broussard, three brothers, Joseph Galton Broussard, Cleveland Louis Broussard and Claude Broussard. Serving as pallbearers will be Brady Lee, Lonnie Lee, Clay Broussard, Donald Broussard, Mark Roy, Tommy Suire, Bradley Suire, and Roland Suire. The family would like to thank Abbeville General Hospital and Eastridge Assisted Living for the care and love they gave Willa. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E.
