Adam Charpentier Jr.

Jeanerette- Funeral services for Mr. Adam Charpentier Jr., age 65, will be held on Saturday January 19, 2013 at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette at 2:00pm with Deacon Gerald Bourg to serve as the Celebrant. Visitation will begin Saturday morning at 9:00am and last until service time.

A native of Oaklawn and resident of Jeanerette, Nunu as he was affectionately known passed away on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 3:15pm at a local healthcare facility. Known for his sweet tooth, Nunu enjoyed playing video games, playing pool, watching wrestling and old western movies, and listening to ole timey music, swamp pop, and Elvis. But his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Mr. Charpentier is survived by his wife, Nancy Charpentier of Jeanerette; sons, Brian Trimble and wife Eve of Opelousas, Mitchell Charpentier and wife Crystal, Adam Joseph Charpentier, Berwick Louviere Charpentier, Christopher Charpentier and companion Jamie Buteau, and Dusty Charpentier all of Jeanerette; daughters, Angel Charpentier and fianc Brandon Latiolais, Rachel Charpentier and companion Tommy Nguyen, Monique Owens and husband Hilton, Dawn Charpentier and fianc Arthur Landry, and Misty Charpentier; one brother, Melvin Charpentier Sr. and wife Dorothy of New Iberia; sisters, Bernadette Paul of Franklin, and Hazel Delcambre of Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Elsie Charpentier of Jeanerette, and Nelda Charpentier of Charenton; grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Trimble, Destani Curtis, Kelsi Benoit, Kaylin Boudreaux, Adam Joseph Charpentier Jr., Bryce Louviere, Chlo , C lyn, C ½ lei , Amy, and Rayvis Charpentier, Noah Nguyen, Brianna, Courtlyn, Louis, and Jace Owens, Tavis Landry and Jasmine Charpentier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Sr. and Estelle Guillote Charpentier; brothers, Ervin, Berwick, Joseph, and Jimmy Charpentier; sisters, Josephine Granger, Leona Myers, and Mary Dorothy Picard.
