New Iberia " A Memorial mass will be conducted for Robert Bobby Foline Broussard, age 87 at 10:00AM Tuesday December 13, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise and Father Jude Thierry officiating. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00AM at the Church prior to the service. A private inurnment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Broussard died Thursday November 17, 2011 at 5:00 PM in an Opelousas Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gurness Viator Broussard of New Iberia; sons: Bobby W. Broussard and his wife Beverly of New Iberia, Chris J. Broussard of New Iberia; Sister: Sadie Pruitt of Texas; 6-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Edmond and Matilda Bernard Broussard, brothers: Waldo Broussard, Renix Broussard; sisters: Lillian Derouen and Sally Crider; one grandchild, Bobby L.
